Fundraiser Established to Support WaHi Agriculture Program Following Sheep Tragedy
Published in Week in Review - May 7, 2026, updated May 20
Walla Walla Public Schools has established a fundraising page for community members wishing to support the Walla Walla High School Agriculture Program following a tragic sheep attack during the month of May. The webpage was created in response to overwhelming outreach from the community to support the Agriculture Education Program.
A total of 15 sheep died, and two additional sheep remained under close observation with serious injuries after being attacked on a Wednesday morning by two dogs.
Agriculture program staff are working to replace some of the animals needed for student projects and the upcoming fair season. Donations made through the fundraiser will directly support these recovery efforts and help students continue their agricultural education experiences.
The fundraiser is open to the public and anyone interested in contributing.
Donations can be made online at:

Fundraiser available until August 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
