Ag Education Farm Days

May 20-21, 2026

The agricultural education students and teachers from Wa-Hi welcomed all WWPS first-grade students for their annual Farm Day event. This event is designed to introduce young students to agriculture, animal care, food production, and farm safety.

Throughout the two-day event, first graders rotated through a variety of hands-on educational stations. Activities included learning opportunities focused on tractors and farm equipment, large and small animals, goat care, and the pig barn.

Farm Day is a favorite event for both the first graders and the Wa-Hi students. Not only does it provide younger students with an opportunity to learn about agriculture, but it also allows high school students to develop leadership, communication, and teaching skills.
