Walla Walla High School senior Ellie Ford has been crowned the 2026 Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days Queen, joining a long-standing local tradition of leadership and community pride. Ellie applied for the position in August and was officially named queen earlier this fall.

To earn the court’s top honor, Ellie demonstrated exceptional fair knowledge, horsemanship, and community involvement. As queen, she will represent Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days at community events, parades, and fairs throughout the region. Her responsibilities also include serving as a spokesperson for the fair program, engaging with local youth groups, and acting as a role model for younger participants in fair and rodeo programs. In addition, Ellie will travel to major rodeos in Reno and Las Vegas to represent Walla Walla on a larger stage.

“I’m so excited to serve as the 2026 queen,” said Ellie. “I want to thank my parents, friends, and teachers who have helped me along the way. I’m truly grateful for the support I’ve received and couldn’t be where I am without it.”

Ellie is Vice President of the Walla Walla High School FFA program, where she shows animals at the fair and promotes agricultural education. Coming from a local farming family, she has deep ties to the community. Her mother, Amy Ford, serves as Principal at Berney Elementary School. A proud graduate of the Dual Language program, Ellie is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Congratulations to Ellie on this remarkable achievement—and best wishes for a successful and rewarding year representing your hometown of Walla Walla.
