WWHS JROTC Cadet Command Sergeant Major Noah Kaheaku renders honors to fallen veterans. The memorial is composed of an inverted rifle, military helmet, combat boots, "dog tags" and a folded American flag.

The Walla Walla High School JROTC “Blue Devils” Cadet Battalion and the Associated Student Bodies hosted an assembly to honor all U.S. military veterans on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025 in the Main Gym.
The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadets had an extensive program planned to include presentation of all the Military Services honoring our Veterans and a Fallen Comrades ceremony; said Command Sgt. Maj. Tony Marrero, WWHS JROTC Senior Army Instructor.

Veterans of all periods and conflicts (including the Cold War) from all branches ... Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Space Force, and all their components ... active, reserve, guard, and retired were recognized for their service to the nation.
The large gym at WWHS was filled with veterans, spouses, friends, JROTC cadets, and members of the student body and faculty.

This event was free and open to veterans, their families, survivors, friends of veterans, and the general public. All were welcome to attend.
