FFA Students Compete at Agriscience Fair

Six FFA members travelled to the Tacoma/Puyallup area for the Vet Science competition and the Agriscience Fair! On Friday, April 11, 2025, four FFA members competed all day, completing case studies, identifying animals and tools, and demonstrating different handling procedures at the Science and Math Institute at Point Defiance Zoo. These members improved greatly from district competition the week prior and earned 18th out of 45 teams!

Saturday, students travelled to the Puyallup Spring fair for Makenna Wright and Amanda Tilley to present their research on Blue Tongue Virus in Sheep. They took 1st in their category/division!! They will now have the opportunity to submit their research for consideration at the National level. They earned recognition on stage at the Washington State FFA Convention this spring.
